Oceans Grief and Loss Programme

OCEANS for Children is a grief and loss programme that provides support for children who have experienced difficult changes or loss in their life. This could be due to the death or absence of someone important to them, separation of parents or family, moving from familiar surroundings, and much more.

The programme provides a safe place for young people to talk about their experiences, discover appropriate ways to express how they are feeling, and learn new tools to help them cope with difficult changes and loss. This happens in a small group setting with others who have had similar experiences, and is supported by caring and trained facilitators. If you would like more information to see if OCEANS could support your young person, please let Fleur know at O.I.S or contact Maria Johnson on 020 459 6900 or go to the following link https://anglicanfamilycare.org.nz/services/north-otago-services-2/
