Sophie Henderson Room 3 Teacher - Year 8

Sophie is committed to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and empowered.

She is particularly passionate about helping her students build the independence and confidence they need to thrive both in and out of the classroom.

Originally from Christchurch, Sophie moved to Dunedin to complete her studies. After teaching at a local school in Dunedin, she is excited to be part of the Oamaru community now.

When she is not in the classroom, Sophie enjoys being active on the netball court, getting lost in a good book, or spending time in the kitchen baking.
