Waitaki District Council’s Waste Minimisation team is running a series of free composting workshops in early May to celebrate International Compost Week. These sessions are designed to help whānau learn simple, practical ways to reduce food waste and create nutrient-rich compost at home.

The workshops are family-friendly and open to the wider community, so they’re a great opportunity for students and their households to get involved in sustainability at home. Spaces are limited. See attachment
