Check out what's happening around Oamaru...

My name is Rebecca Honeybone and I'm the Parent to Parent Regional Coordinator for North Otago and Greater Canterbury. I hold bi-monthly Parent Support Groups in Oamaru for parents and whanau who have loved ones with disabilities, neurodivergence or health impairments. I have attached the Parent Support Group flier which has the details and the dates for the rest of 2025. Is it possible for you to send it out to your network and any families you know who you think would benefit from coming along?

Information service - we also have an information service where parents or professionals can ask questions and get tailored information from our Support and Information Team to answer their questions.  It could be something to do with the diagnosis their child has, or the ways which it impacts their whanau's life eg: behaviour, toileting, eating etc. Or it might be to do with services, for example, where to go to get what and what is available. You can access the information service by phone, email, or using this webform: Information Requests - Parent to Parent

If any of your families or staff need support and/or information, please don't hesitate to get in contact with me. Here is the link to our website:
