Hands-On Creativity: Year 7s & 8s Master the Workshop!

Our Year 7 students have just finished their footstools in the Hard Materials option. They have learnt how to cut, shape, join and finish materials. We have had some great design ideas, and most stools were completed to a very high standard. Well done. We are now moving on to our next project, which is pewter casting a piece of jewellery.

Our Year 8 Hard Materials class has been learning how to cut, shape and bend mild steel. They were tasked with designing and making a coat hook or key hook system.
