  SCHOOL HALL
Our newly upgraded hall is a great place for our school to meet for assembly on a weekly basis.  The hall is utilised well for physical education, performances and social functions.
   

 
LEARNING CENTRE
The Learning Centre constructed in 2006 provides three variable teaching spaces designed to enhance learning opportunities for both staff and pupils. Clever use of sound proofing and access ways allows each room to be used independently or as an open plan space. The benefits of this facility are ongoing.
   
 

INFORMATION CENTRE – combined Library/ICT suite
We have an open plan library and computer suite area. Pupils have access to this during lunchtime as well as class time.
   
 

GROUNDS/OPEN SPACES
The spacious grounds include three netball/basketball courts, soccer fields and rugby fields, cricket nets, a fitness challenge course plus plenty of field space.
   
  SWIMMING POOL
The school has developed an excellent swimming facility.  A 25m heated covered pool is extensively used from October to April.  School fundraising in 2008 supported the installation of a new solar heating system which maintains temperatures around 26°, and in 2009 enabled a repaint of the pool.
   
  CANTEEN
Lunches can be purchased from the canteen, as can snacks at morning tea and lunchtime.  A variety of foods are available.  The OIS Canteen has been awarded National Heart Beat Awards for Food Nutrition on a regular basis.
